Return of The Writer

Hi, Honey, I'm home!
I wish that was the way I felt. Coming to Blogger.com has taken me a journey of ten years of learning computer technology, waiting 30 years for computer technology to get to this point, and the sheer will to make some money in a passive way.

Not to say that this is entirely passive, for we writers know just how frustrating an article can get if we need to do research for sources and information.



On the other hand, I adore research. That's why I've titled my blog "Punk Librarian".

It was a nickname that I was given when I was working in the publishing field. I was a librarian, and I got my hair cut ala' Ziggy Stardust. It was comfortable, but I looked like Joan of Arc! Named by a coworker, "PunkLibrarian" stuck to me and has been my motto for years. I'm a librarian, but I'm a researcher in many fields. I tend to be the "attack and take no prisoners!" sort of researcher, diving in where others fear to tread. I've no idea why or how my passion for research came from. When I was a kid I wouldn't do research past my set of encyclopaedias, if I even went that far. I absolutely hated research.

Somewhere along the line I developed and insatiable curiosity for how things work -- and that led to my current state -- always wanting more.

So as I said on my profile, don't be surprised if you see lots and lots of different subjects in my blogs. My interests range far and wide!



So wish me luck here in my new home. It's obvious that I've got a lot of work ahead of me.

I hope it will be as fun for me to write as it will be for you to read.

*ahem*
